What to do When You’re Tired of Looking Tired

If you have discoloration underneath your eyes that makes you appear tired or groggy—even when feeling perfectly awake—there are options to refresh your lower eyelids to resolve shadows or lines.

Every pair of eyes is unique, and if you suffer from discoloration, puffy bags, or lines that make you look like you haven’t slept in days, Dr. Fugo can have a one-on-one consultation with you. During this consultation, Dr. Fugo takes the time to investigate what may be causing the underlying issues, and he really focuses on listening to your individual concerns and goals.

After he truly understands your unique situation, he can make recommendations for a procedure that would give you the best outcome. Dr. Fugo takes the time to offer advice and answer questions based on each individual’s needs.

Laser Treatments

To address discoloration or wrinkling underneath the eyes, Dr. Fugo may recommend a laser procedure. In his practice, board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Fugo can treat the area with a laser, which can resolve discoloration issues in as few as one to two treatments. The benefits of laser treatments are that they require only a topical anesthetic, and would not require you to take any time off work for recovery. The other benefit of this type of treatment is that the results can last for years. After a laser treatment with Dr. Fugo, you can say goodbye to the dark circles or wrinkles that may have plagued you in the past.

Restylane

If you are concerned about the lines or volume loss under your eyes that make you look permanently sleepy, Dr. Fugo may also recommend a treatment with Restylane. Lower eyelid grooves, or “tear trough” deformities may be present at an early age, but are also common signs of aging, creating shadows that make you appear as if you are not as awake as you may feel. If you are a good candidate, Dr. Fugo can use his expertise to inject a small amount of Restylane dermal filler under your eyes to fill in this area and reduce the harsh lines and subsequent shadows.

In some cases, simply resolving the lines and shape under the eye area may resolve all of your “sleepy eye” problems.

Unique You – Unique Approach

Dr. Fugo does not believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach to beauty. When you have a consultation with him, he listens to your needs and investigates your individual situation. Dr. Fugo strives to ensure that you have the best possible outcome. This begins with customizing your procedure to fit you and your unique needs. If you suffer from sleepy eyes or lower eyelid discoloration, contact our office to schedule a consultation with Dr. Fugo to discuss your unique situation and learn about your options.
