At Dr. Fugo Plastic Surgery and Laser Skin Care Center, we are proud to offer numerous non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments to help our patients look the way they’ve always wanted to. Read on to learn about the options we provide and how they can help you.
What is Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation?
Non-surgical facial rejuvenation is an umbrella term for a variety of procedures that have similar goals — to help you look more youthful and vigorous without subjecting you to the discomfort and downtime of surgery. At Dr. Fugo Plastic Surgery and Laser Skin Care Center, we offer non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments such as:
Dysport Injectable Treatments
These treatments use a purified form of Botulinum toxin A to reduce the appearances of wrinkles such as:
- Crow’s feet
- Forehead furrows
- Frown lines
Daily repetitive actions such as chewing, frowning, laughing, squinting, and furrowing your brow can produce wrinkles over a period of time. Dysport blocks nerve signals to the muscles that control those actions. This forces the muscles to relax and the wrinkles to diminish without affecting your ability to eat, speak, or make any other facial movements.
Dermal Fillers
Like Dysport, dermal fillers such as Radiesse, Sculptra, and Restylane can help eliminate wrinkles, but they do so in a different way.
Another cause of wrinkles and decreasing facial volume is the natural age-related decline in collagen production. Collagen is a protein that helps give your skin its elasticity and firmness. As you age, your body produces about 1 percent less collagen per year. This can lead to wrinkles and sagging, drooping skin.
Dermal fillers contain collagen, hyaluronic acid, and other naturally occurring substances to give you smoother, firmer, more youthful-looking skin.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels can improve the look and texture of your skin by removing its damaged outer layers. They can address conditions such as:
- Rough, dry skin
- Sun damage
- Acne
- Superficial blemishes
- Pigmentation problems
Microblading
This semi-permanent procedure can help improve the appearance of your eyebrows if they’re naturally thin or have lost hair because of medical or congenital conditions.
During your microblading session, tiny hair-like incisions will be made along your existing eyebrow area. Then, they’ll be filled with pigment that matches your existing hairs. In contrast to eyebrow tattooing, microblading uses lighter, thinner strokes to achieve a more natural appearance.
Laser Skin Resurfacing
Dr. Fugo uses the state-of-the-art Cynosure laser to give his patients the safest and gentlest laser treatment possible. Laser skin resurfacing help you in ways such as:
- Reducing the appearance of scars
- Treating rosacea
- Improving pigmentation disorders
- Diminishing the appearance of sun damage
- Eliminating acne
