40 Year Old Female, 6 Weeks Post-op——This patient underwent breast augmentation more than 12 years ago by another surgeon. With aging, her native breast volume decreased, her breasts began to sag and her implants developed late onset capsular contractures, causing the breasts to be asymmetric and misshapen with implant rippling. She desired a restoration of her original bust shape and volume with improved look and feel. She underwent removal of her original breast implants and capsular scar tissue, peri-areolar augmentation-lift using 960cc saline implants through circumferential areolar incisions. This resulted in dramatic improvement in her breast volume, shape and feel.
